1. Product Information

• Our men's non-surgical hair systems are crafted from high-quality, 100% human hair, offering a seamless, natural look that is undetectable.

• Our systems come in various base options, including skin, mono and lace bases, to accommodate individual preferences.

• The systems are available in over 30 colors and can be customized in size and cut to fit individual head shapes and styles.

Hair Quality: Our hair systems are made from the finest human hair. The hair is soft, natural, and blends seamlessly with your own hair, providing a natural appearance.

2. Shedding and Durability

Shedding: Some shedding is natural and expected, particularly within the first few weeks of use as the hair adjusts to the scalp and product application. This shedding should not exceed a few strands per day and will gradually reduce with proper care.

Reasons for Shedding: The shedding process can be influenced by factors such as:

• Daily wear and tear from friction against clothing, hats, or bedding

• Improper installation or application methods

• Excessive heat styling or chemical treatments

• Brushing

• Excessive washing

• Natural hair shedding cycle

Longevity:

• With proper care, our skin hair systems can last up to 4 months or more.

• With proper care lace and mono systems can last op to 6 months or more. Regular cleaning, conditioning, and proper handling will help extend the life of your hair system.

3. Tearing of Bases

Tearing or Breaking of Bases: While the materials used in our hair systems (skin, mono and lace bases) are durable, they are not indestructible and may tear or break under certain conditions.

Reasons for Tearing or Breaking: The bases can become damaged due to:

• Rough handling or improper application/removal techniques

• Excessive tension when attaching or detaching the system

• Exposure to high heat or chemical products that weaken the material

• Extended or improper storage that leads to base deterioration

• Excessive pulling on the hair during styling or brushing

• Incorrect glue or tape remover products

Preventative Care: Handle the hair system gently, especially when installing, adjusting, or removing. Store the system in a cool, dry place when not in use, and avoid exposing it to harsh chemicals or high heat.

4. Other Potential Issues and Prevention Tips

Lift or Discomfort from Adhesive:

Problem: Over time, the adhesive used to attach the hair system may lift, causing discomfort or loosening of the system.

Prevention: Ensure that the adhesive is applied correctly, avoiding excess product, and reapply every 2–3 weeks. Regularly clean your scalp to remove oil buildup that may affect the adhesive’s effectiveness.

Different methods of applying: One type of glue might not work for everyone. For this reason we offer a few options: Ultra Hold, Extreme Hold, Ghost Bond and lace front tape. If one method does not hold, we encourage clients to use another until you find the glue or tape that works best for your skin type and lifestyle.

Maintenance: Men with an active lifestyle or who are more prone to sweating or have an oily scalp will have to re-apply their systems more often.

Tip: Purchase a touch-up glue to keep on hand. If your hair system begins to lift, you can temporarily secure the front hairline using the touch-up glue until your scheduled re-fitment appointment with your stylist.

Air Pockets or Uneven Application:

Problem: Sometimes, air pockets or uneven application can occur, especially if the system is not applied evenly on the scalp.

Prevention: Have your hair system professionally installed by a certified stylist to ensure proper fitting. If you notice any issues, contact our support team for guidance on how to adjust it.

Damage from Environmental Factors:

Problem: Environmental factors such as sweat, humidity, and UV exposure can cause wear and tear on both the hair and the base of the system.

Prevention: To protect the hair system, avoid excessive exposure to sunlight and moisture. If exposed to humidity or sweat, remove the system for cleaning or allow it to dry properly.

Product Buildup or Residue:

Problem: The use of hair styling products, oils, or sprays can lead to product buildup on the hair system, making it look greasy and heavy. Some products can make the hair hard, which will make brushing difficult and lead to premature shedding.

Prevention: Limit the use of heavy styling products and opt for those that are lightweight and compatible with the system. Regularly clean your hair system to prevent buildup and maintain its natural shine.

Never use styling products that "hardens" the hair.

Colour Fading or Dullness:

Problem: Due to external factors like washing, heat styling, and environmental exposure, the colour of the hair may fade over time.

Prevention: Use sulfate-free shampoos and conditioners designed for colour-treated hair. Also, avoid excessive heat styling and sun exposure to preserve the colour for longer.

AVOID any products containing keratin or protein as it will make the hair brittle and hard.

Itching or Irritation:

Problem: Some users may experience itching or irritation, particularly if the hair system is new or if adhesives irritate the scalp.

A little itching is normal but if it persists, contact your stylist for advice.

Prevention: To minimize irritation, ensure that the system is applied properly with suitable adhesives and that the scalp is clean and healthy. If irritation persists, discontinue use of certain products. Changing to other recommended adhesives or tape can be helpful.

• Using Walker Max Hold Sport Scalp Prep is a great product to eliminate any itching while protecting the scalp.

• Avoid shaving the scalp with a blade, to prevent ingrown hair and scalp sensitivity before applying the hair system.

• Cleaning the scalp with harsh alcohol can also lead to irritation.

Dryness or Brittle Hair:

Problem: Prolonged wear, improper care and incorrect product use can cause the hair to become dry and brittle.

Prevention: Regular conditioning is key to maintaining the hair's softness and elasticity. Use hydrating and nourishing treatments designed for human hair systems.

5. Application and Maintenance

Attachment Methods: Our hair systems can be attached using professional-grade adhesive or tape. The recommended method of attachment should be followed to ensure a secure and long-lasting fit.

Maintenance: To ensure the longevity of your system, it is recommended to follow our aftercare instructions carefully. This includes cleaning the system regularly, applying appropriate products, and avoiding overuse of heat styling tools.

Reapplication: We recommend reapplying the hair system every 2–3 weeks, depending on the method of attachment and your personal lifestyle.

TIP: Never apply adhesive glue directly to a lace system, as the glue may leak through into the system's hair. Apply 2-3 layers directly to the scalp when using a lace system.
