How long does a lace-front wig last?

With proper care, a 100% human hair wig can last 6-12 months or longer depending on daily wear and maintenance. Using sulphate-free products like SOL Professional, gentle brushing and correct storage will extend the lifespan significantly.

Can I style and heat-treat my wig?

Yes. Because our wigs are made from 100% human hair, you can straighten, curl and blow-dry them. We recommend applying a heat protectant spray and avoiding excessive heat to maintain softness and shine.

How do I wash and care for my wig?

Wash gently every 10–15 wears (or when product build-up is visible).

Use a sulphate-free shampoo and conditioner like SOL Professional, avoid rubbing or twisting, and rinse in cool–lukewarm water.

After washing, air-dry on a wig stand and avoid blow-drying directly at high heat.

Can I sleep with my wig on?

We do not recommend it. Sleeping in a wig causes friction, knotting and unnecessary strand stress. Removing your wig at night and storing it on a wig stand or mannequin head keeps the hair smooth and prolongs lifespan.

Will the wig look natural if I have no hair?

Yes. Our lace-front design creates an illusion of hair growing directly from the scalp, making the hairline realistic and seamless for clients with alopecia or medical-related hair loss such as chemotherapy. Using our lace front tape only at the hairline of your wig gives it a very secure and natural finish, keeping the wig perfectly in place.

How do I keep my wig soft and tangle-free?

Brush from ends upward using a wide-tooth comb or soft bristle brush.

Apply conditioner mid-length to ends only and avoid the lace area.

Use SOL Hydra Love treatment mask to maintain silkiness and keep the hair hydrated.

Never use any products containing protein/ keratin to prevent the hair from becoming brittle, breaking or becoming dry.

How do I secure my wig if I have little to no natural hair?

Wigs can be secured using adjustable straps, clips, wig grips or adhesive depending on what feels comfortable. Many clients with full hair loss prefer a wig grip for security without irritation.

What if the wig I want is out of stock?

You can place a custom order in any colour, length, style, density or cap size. Custom wigs take approximately 4 weeks to create, and we will keep you updated throughout the process so you know when to expect your unit.
