Reapplication interval: Every 6-8 weeks to maintain optimal appearance.
Weight distribution area: The tape bond spreads weight evenly over a 4 cm width to minimise strain on natural hair.
Application style: Pre-taped hair strands that are adhered close to the scalp in a “sandwich” method for a flat, natural-looking blend.
MAINTENANCE TIPS:
Wait 48h before washing: Allow the adhesive tape to fully bond by avoiding washing, sweating or applying products for a min of 2 days after installation.
Use extension-safe hair products: Only use Strands of Love recommended and tested products on your hair extensions.
SOL Professional and SOL Hydra Love are products highly recommended as they are specifically developed for Strands of Love hair extensions.
Never use products containing keratin or proteins on your extensions as they will dry out and shorten your extensions drastically.
Dry thoroughly after washing: Blow dry your roots on a medium heat. Leaving tapes damp can weaken the adhesive. Never brush wet tapes, as the tapes will slide or come loose.
Sleep with care: Tie your hair in a loose bun or braid when sleeping to avoid friction and breakage. Tuck the ends away to prevent breakage.
Avoid heat on tapes: When styling with heat, keep your heat tools at least 3cm away from the bonds, to prevent heat damage which can lead to premature shedding.
