1. Company Overview
Strands of Love (Pty) Ltd is a South African-based supplier specializing in premium-quality Remy human hair extensions and related products. We operate exclusively as a supplier and do not provide hair extension installation or maintenance services. However, we can connect clients with registered salons and stylists trained in our products. Please note that we are not liable for any services rendered by third-party salons or stylists.
2. Ordering Process
• Placing Orders: Orders can be placed online through our website or via registered salons and stylists. Please note that Tape-in, K-tip and Wefts need to be purchase through a registered salon or stylist as a professional installation is required.
• Order Confirmation: Upon placing an order, you will receive a confirmation email detailing your purchase.
• Stock Availability: If an item is out of stock, we will contact you to discuss alternative options or process a refund/credit.
• Colour Variations: Due to differences in screen displays and the hand-coloured nature of our products, slight color variations may occur. We offer colour rings as a guideline to assist with color matching.
3. Pricing and Payment
• Currency: All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) and are subject to change without prior notice.
• Payment Methods: We accept payments via credit/debit cards, Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), and PayPal.
• Additional Charges: Shipping costs and applicable taxes will be calculated and displayed at checkout.
• Payment Processing Fees: For refunds, any payment processing fees incurred may be deducted from the refund amount (Courier and Payfast (R250) refund fees).
4. Shipping and Delivery
• Processing Time: Orders are typically processed within 1 business day.
• Delivery Timeframe: Delivery times vary based on location and shipping method. Estimated delivery within South Africa is 1–3 business days.
• Shipping Fees: A standard courier fee of R220 applies to all exchanges or returns.
• Responsibility: We are not liable for delays caused by external factors such as weather, courier issues, or customs. Additionally, we are not responsible for incorrect delivery addresses or contact details provided by the customer, but will do our best to assist if such a matter occurred.
5. Product Quality Assurance
• Quality Guarantee: Our hair extensions are made from 100% Remy human hair, sourced from Eastern Europe, ensuring softness, shine, and natural appearance.
• Colouring Process: Our hair undergoes a cold dye process, preserving the hair's cuticle and integrity.
• Product Variations: Due to the hand-colored nature of our products, slight variations in colour may occur between batches.
6. Returns and Exchanges
• Eligibility: Returns or exchanges are accepted within 7 days of purchase, provided the items are unused, in their original packaging, and with all tags attached.
• Exclusions:Installed or used hair extensions cannot be returned or exchanged due to hygiene reasons.
Custom orders, sale items, accessories, and aftercare products are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange.
• Process: To initiate a return or exchange, contact us at customersupport@strandsoflove.co.za with your invoice number, proof of payment, and reason for return.
• Shipping Costs: The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective.
7. Replacements
• Reporting Issues: If you experience any issues with our products, notify us within 8 weeks of purchase by emailing customersupport@strandsoflove.co.za.
• Required Information: Include the salon/stylist name, invoice number, proof of payment, and photos of aftercare products used.
• Inspection Process: The hair must be removed by the installing salon for inspection. We will arrange courier collection for quality assessment.
• Outcome:
If a manufacturing defect is found, a replacement will be issued.
If no defect is found, the hair will undergo treatment and be returned.
• Exclusions:
No replacements will be issued if:
Non-recommended products were used.
Products containing keratin or protein were used.
The hair was coloured, bleached, or toned or silver shampoo used.
Aftercare guidelines were not followed.
Hair is older than 3 months.
8. Custom Orders
• Lead Time: Custom orders take approximately 6–8 weeks to arrive, subject to manufacturing timelines.
• Deposit: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to place a custom order.
• Final Payment: The remaining balance must be paid before delivery.
• Minimum Order: Custom orders require a minimum of 100g per color and per length.
• Returns: Custom orders are non-refundable and non-exchangeable unless a replacement buyer is found.
9. Aftercare Guidelines
Proper aftercare is essential to maintain the quality and longevity of your hair extensions.
Key points include:
• Washing: Wait 48 hours after installation before washing. Use moisture-rich, keratin-free and protein-free products.
• Brushing: Brush twice daily, avoiding wet brushing. Use a soft-bristle brush and start from the ends.
• Sleeping: Never sleep with wet hair. Tie hair in a loose braid or bun.
• Swimming: Avoid chlorine and saltwater. If unavoidable, apply leave-in conditioner and rinse hair immediately after swimming.
• Styling: Use heat protectant products and keep styling tools below 180°C.
• Colouring: Do not bleach or lighten extensions. Always perform a strand test before coloring.

10. Limitation of Liability
Strands of Love is not liable for:
• Indirect or consequential damages arising from product use.
• Services provided by third-party salons or stylists.
• Issues resulting from failure to follow aftercare guidelines.
• Our maximum liability is limited to the purchase price of the product.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with South African law.
12. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
13. Privacy Policy
We are committed to protecting your privacy. Personal information collected is used solely for order processing and customer service. We do not share your information with third parties, except as necessary to fulfill your order.
When registering with Strands of Love as a salon or stylist you give us the right to provide potential clients with your contact information unless requested otherwise.

Please note:
Professional hair extension products can only be purchased directly form a Strands of Love registered salon. This includes: Tape-ins, Weft and K-tip extensions.
The following products can be purchased directly from Strands of Love or from your nearest registered salon or stylist: Clip-ins, Halos, Crown Toppers, Ponytails, Wigs and Men's hair systems. These products are available on our website or per appointment.
By purchasing our products or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
