What is the expected lifespan of the different base types?

Skin-base systems (0.006mm-0.008mm) typically last 2-4 months with proper care, but can last longer.

Lace and mono base systems generally last 4-6 months if looked after correctly, but can last longer.

What’s the best way to dry my hair system after washing?

Gently pat the hair dry with a soft towel, never rub. Allow it to air-dry whenever possible. If using a blow-dryer, use the cool setting only. Excessive heat can weaken knots and damage the base.

Can I swim or exercise while wearing my system?

Yes, but it’s important to seal the system securely beforehand and use waterproof adhesive or tape. After swimming (especially in salt or chlorinated water), rinse immediately with fresh water and follow with conditioner to prevent dryness.

What products should I avoid using on my hair system?

Is shedding normal and how much should I expect?

Yes, some shedding is normal, especially in the first few weeks as the system “settles” on the scalp. It should be limited to a few strands per day and will reduce with proper care. Skin systems tend to shed more due to the V-loop insertion. Lace bases shed less as the hair is knotted into the base.

What is your policy on returns or exchanges?

Returns or exchanges are accepted within 7 days of purchase, only if items are unused and in original packaging. Used or installed hair systems, custom orders, sale items, accessories and after-care products are final sale and not eligible for return/exchange.
